Star Trek B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) is a travel-related services company that provides education and training designed to equip individuals with the tools needed to navigate the potential perils of traveling in space. Our clients include starship officers and personnel, Vulcans, Rigelians, Betazoids, Andorians, and even a few Saurians. We are the official Interstellar Risks Trainers of Earth’s Starfleet as well as other members of the Federation. Though we are primarily an Earth services company, STB has branch offices that offer region specific training needs for experienced travelers and Starfleet personnel living on other planets. Our reach extends well within the Alpha and Beta Quadrants with satellite branches on worlds such as Vulcan,, Rigel IV, Andor, Tellar Prime, Ardana and many others.
Star Trek B.i.b.l.e. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) is a Star Trek themed humor site spoofing training for Earth civilian space travelers.
Hello, let me introduce myself. I’m Interstellar Risks Trainer 367, whose home station is Earth. I've been employed by Star Trek B.i.b.l.e. (STB) and traveling around Federation space as a dynamic trainer for three years. My previous position as a STB Ship Coordinator and former Starfleet Security NCO, will help expand the scope of your instruction in unexpected ways, I’ve been told.
Before we get started, there are two things you should know about trainers. One is that there is a wide array of trainer instructional styles. Sometimes the variance can be startling, but don’t be alarmed, it’s all part of the immersive learning environment encouraged by the STB corporation. The second thing is that there are two kinds of trainers. Static trainers, who instruct from fixed locations, like a planet or space station. Others, like myself, are dynamic trainers, because we travel while we train to provide up-to-date data. This does not make the subject material of static trainers any less important. Actually, theirs may be more relevant since they deal with timeless and proven instruction. You will receive both kinds of instruction in your courses.
